On Thursday, the Baltimore Ravens took Notre Dame safety, Kyle Hamilton, in their first pick of the draft.
There are a lot of ways you can celebrate when you get drafted, but Hamilton gave us a viral moment that will never be forgotten. He is going viral for his handshake with his girlfriend Reece.
Hamilton was asked about the moment during his introductory press conference.
“So, my girlfriend and I, Reece, Reese Damm, started dating in sophomore year of high school and I think we came up with the handshake in junior year or something like that,” Hamilton explained. “And so, we’ve just been doing it ever since and we just decided it seemed like the right time to do it.”
The Baltimore Ravens even tweeted about it.
During his college career at Notre Dame, Hamilton appeared in 31 games and recorded 138 tackles, eight interceptions, a defensive touchdown, and 16 pass deflections over the course of three seasons.
