Through his Instagram account, Dallas Cowboys quarterback Dak Prescott announced his engagement to his girlfriend, Sarah Jane Ramos, with a stunning gesture – a million-dollar ring during a golf outing.
“Mine forever!” Prescott captioned his post, taking advantage of the Cowboys’ bye week in the NFL amidst mounting questions about the team’s and his own performance.
Prescott, who signed a multi-million-dollar $240 million contract, has the Cowboys sitting at a 3-3 record. He has accumulated 1,602 passing yards, ranking him third in passing yards this season.
However, with eight touchdown passes and six interceptions, he holds the second-highest number of picks among quarterbacks this year.
Additionally, Prescott’s passer rating sits at a low 85.5, placing him 25th in the league, and the Cowboys are coming off a devastating 47-9 loss to the Detroit Lions.
Returning to the proposal, once Prescott got down on one knee and revealed the stunning and expensive ring, Sarah Jane responded with eight heartfelt words:
“I can’t wait to spend an eternity with you.”
But that wasn’t all – Prescott involved his daughter, Margaret Jane, in the special moment, dressing her in a shirt that read: “Hi mommy, dad has a question for you!”
The ring, an impressive 10-carat emerald-cut diamond, is flanked by two tapered baguettes, all set in 18-carat yellow gold. Jason Arasheben, CEO of Jason of Beverly Hills, shared more details about the custom ring: “He (Prescott) was involved in every aspect and really wanted this to be a ring she would love. He wanted something classic with a special twist.”
Margaret Jane was born just this past February 29th, and since then, Prescott has gotten several tattoos in her honor and frequently shares stories and moments with her and Sarah on social media.
“Being your parents is the greatest blessing life has to offer,” the couple shared after the birth of their daughter.
At 30 years old, Sarah Jane brings her own identity to the relationship as a certified wine and spirits specialist.
Just a few weeks ago, she celebrated her recent birthday with powerful words: “I truly have everything I could wish for, and I have a feeling this next chapter will be the best one yet.”
That chapter now includes a dazzling engagement ring and a lifelong commitment with the quarterback of “America’s Team.”

Last July, Prescott offered a rare glimpse into his family life, sharing photos titled “Moments and memories,” where their young daughter proudly wore Prescott’s No. 4 Cowboys jersey alongside their dogs in the shared images.
